Course Description
Todd Angell is the founder of Guardian Angell Consulting, which partnered with Barrel
and Hatchet Trade Group in 2023 to provide medical training to the B&H community.
Todd is the lead instructor for Guardian Casualty Response Course. This course
focuses on training responsible citizens to have a knowledge and skill-base for
providing emergency medical aid. The course provides decades of experience-based,
evidence-based medical training to non-medical citizens.
This course was born following the Orlando, Florida terrorist attack in 2016, which took
the lives of 49 Americans and injured over 50 more. This class is the down and dirty
medical training, required to save a life for the most common cause of death for
Americans age 1-44, Trauma.

Who is Todd Angell
Todd comes from a deep-rooted, pre-hospital medical career. Todd started his journey
as a United States Navy Corpsman, attached with the United States Marine Corps
infantry. Completing two deployments as a Corpsman, he is well-versed in combat
medicine. On his second deployment, Todd received the nation’s third highest award for
valor, the Silver Star, while serving as Corpsman for 1 st BN, 8 th Marines, Weapons
Company.
Upon honorable discharge, Todd began his civilian career as a firefighter/paramedic for
a large, metro fire department in Florida. Todd also taught paramedic school for 3 years,
before working his way to his new job as a Flight Paramedic. Todd flies for a level 1
Trauma Center, taking care of the most critically injured and ill patients in Southwest
Florida.
Todd firmly believes in sharing knowledge and experience with his community,
to make us all-around better.
