SUMMARY:FRANK PROCTOR SHOOTING / The Fundamentals of Fast - Applied to Pistol
DESCRIPTION:$600.00\n\n This is a 2 day pistol course Outdoor range courses limited to 16 students (plus the host) Indoor range courses limited to 12 students plus the host My brand of shooting is FAST ACCURATE EASY.  I have been shooting and training as a Profession and a Passion for over 20 years.  Over this amount of time I have gathered a lot of information\, knowledge\, experiences\, failures and successes that I want to transfer to the people that train with me.  I struggle because I want to give every bit of it in every class but honestly there is no way to put over 20 years of living and learning shooting and training to shoot into 2 days.  This course is the current curation of my knowledge and experiences in shooting and training to do it better.  Here’s what to expect:   Priority on what matters most in shooting.  Shooting of any kind even performance shooting is a simple thing.  I break it down into things we need to SEE and things we need to DO.   We’ll start by listing those things and then start working through exercises that will help us grasp the concepts and build habits to execute those concepts on demand and at any level of performance we want to train to.   I will present the concepts in a simple and easy to understand/digest way.  I do believe and will share with you how I feel shooting and training can be very intuitive (LET IT DO)   The information presented will be heavy on concept and light on technique.  I don’t believe in telling someone HOW to do something\, but rather explain the concept of what needs to executed and as humans we are very adaptable and will create our own techniques that work best with our individuality.  I believe that teaching technique first binds people and prohibits growth.  I will share some techniques that through the challenges presented to my in my shooting experiences my mind and body adapted… they may be helpful to you or you may be able to develop something from them that works well for you.   Doing dry fire with the right intentions allowed me to make my biggest leap in performance  as a shooter.  I think it is extremely important in our development and building habits that help us perform.  We will run though some base dry fire exercises and you will walk away with very solid dry-fire workout that you can do for 10-15 minutes per day and see huge gains.   In dry fire we can develop most of the skills and habits that we need for shooting.  There are only a few things that we have to shoot live to master.  We will run through some live fire exercises that will help us build and refine those habits and you will leave with a very good live fire workout that you can use as is or modify to reach any goal you have as a shooter.   HABITS-I put a focus on developing good habits when we train.  When it’s time to perform…it is your habits that will show up\, good or bad.  Building good habits is easy but we have to be mindful when we train.   Training and Doing are different.  Frequently shooters will go to the range or dry fire and DO drills.  What we will do is set our intentions when we invest our time and resources and by doing so we will get more out of the exercises and they will help us grow/get better.   In the past people have thought that what I offer is for competition only. In my time as a professional shooter I was in the US Army Special Forces ( Green Beret) for 15 years and have been a USPSA Grandmaster for over 16 years.  My brand of shooting is performance oriented I like to call it Fast Accurate Easy.  The information and concepts I will present to you are applicable to any type of shooting\, recreational\, competitive or combat.   Equipment list Bring what YOU need to shoot and take care of your body during an active and fast paced day on a range outdoors Hearing and eye protection Pistol- Iron sights or Red dots\, bring several guns if you’d like I will most likely shoot a dot gun and an iron sight gun in the course. Safe Holster- OWB or IWB Magazines- 3 is good but 2 will work as well. 600-1000 rounds of pistol ammo recommended.  (Bring more if you have it and want to shoot more during rep sessions) Class times are typically 9-4 with some variations\, we frequently go longer or offer the option for shooters to stay later.\n \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In order for the Bravo course to be scheduled stand-alone it MUST be attended by students who have completed the GHOST Fighter Alpha course. This course is NOT meant for new shooters. It is expected for students to have an extremely strong foundation in the basic fundamentals of pistol and rifle skills and extremely competent safety practices. Failure to demonstrate these skills is grounds for immediate removal from the course and NON REFUNDABLE. \nRental Equipment “Try Before you Buy” \nWe understand that Night Vision equipment is an extremely costly and heavy investment\, which is why we will have several rental units available for students to rent and use for the course. This program is made possible by our partnership with ADVANCED NIGHT VISION LLC. If you like the unit you are renting and would like to purchase the Night Vision Device\, you can purchase that unit during the training event and the cost of the rental cost will be deducted from your unit price. This is what will be included within your rental package: \n \n\n\n GHOST Fighter Package – $ 189\n \n\n PVS 14 Night Vision Monocular w/ RHINO arm\n Team Wendy Bump Helmet\n AR15 Upper with IR Laser\, IR Flood\, White Light\n\n\n PVS14 with RHINO Arm $160\n Vortex SPARC red dot on 1.93 riser $ 40\n IR Laser w/ IR Flood $ 80\n\n \n\n\nProhibited equipment:\n\n \nWar Sport LVOA-C\, LVOA-S and LVOA-SP models are not allowed due to excessive muzzle flash that can damage night vision equipment. \n\n \nLantac Dragon muzzle devices are not allowed due to excessive muzzle flash that can damage night vision equipment. \n\n \nSmooth rail/handguard rifles-due to the need to attach accessories\, traditional handguards will not function in this course. \n\n \nReloaded Ammunition is not allowed for use due to increased difficulty in diagnosing atypical malfunctions under night vision use. \n\n \n*In general\, Compensator and Brake style muzzle devices are designed to maximize reduction in felt recoil\, allowing a flatter shooting rifle\, however these devices in general produce more visible muzzle flash and more felt concussive force near the shooter.  Because of these factors\, students are strongly encouraged to use flash hiders and/or suppressors to minimize muzzle signature and prevent partner/team disruption in close proximity. \n\n\n\n\nTicket Information\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGhost Fighter NVG BRAVO – 1/12/25\n$270.00\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER

In the Alpha course  students will begin with zeroing equipment and gaining a solid understanding of the use of NVG’s and all equipment for night operations. Students will build a solid foundation of basic daytime tasks under the constraints of limited FOV (field of view) under night vision. The course is designed to build confidence using fluid adjustments of night vision devices and individual equipment. Students will also be exposed to different techniques to camouflage and hide from night vision devices as well as white light. This course drives the student to enhance and rely on other senses to make them as effective at night as they are in the day. In this course users will build their individual equipment and learn the lost skill of accessing their gear\, through touch and feel. Students will be able to avoid obstacles and also move quietly through local terrain and move in different formations while utilizing techniques to enhance their senses in conjunction with NVG’s. During this course students will have to solve basic and complex problems as a group and individually. Basic firearms handling and night shooting techniques will be exposed to the student.  \nCourse Alpha \nItems covered in this course:  \n\nIntroduction to Night Vision basics/ challenges\nFamiliarization of equipment\, zeroing of IR Devices/ Optics\nEquipment configuration/ familiarization\nPractical skills\, navigation/ terrain association\nSignaling techniques\nFormation/ movement\nBasic firearm handling\, marksmanship\n\n  \nRequired Equipment:\n\nNight Vision Goggles\nWilcox mount/ RHINO arm\nIR Strobe\nHelmet Ballistic or bump\nEar protection\nEye protection Clear lenses\nRifle with accessory rail\, 12 o clock position of rail must have the ability to allow top mounted devices for IR lasers and optics\nIR Laser\, IR flood\, Weapons White Light\nFlash Hider style muzzle device or suppressor. This is what will be included in your rental package: \n\nGHOST Fighter Package $ 189\n\nPVS 14 Night Vision Monocular w/ RHINO arm\nTeam Wendy Bump Helmet\nAR15 Upper with IR Laser\, IR Flood\, White Light\n\n\nPVS14 with RHINO Arm $160\nVortex SPARC red dot on 1.93 riser $ 40\nIR Laser w/ IR Flood $ 80\n\n \nProhibited equipment:\n\n\nWar Sport LVOA-C\, LVOA-S and LVOA-SP models are not allowed due to excessive muzzle flash that can damage night vision equipment. \n\n\nLantac Dragon muzzle devices are not allowed due to excessive muzzle flash that can damage night vision equipment. \n\n\nSmooth rail/handguard rifles-due to the need to attach accessories\, traditional handguards will not function in this course. \n\n\nReloaded Ammunition is not allowed for use due to increased difficulty in diagnosing atypical malfunctions under night vision use. \n\n\n*In general\, Compensator and Brake style muzzle devices are designed to maximize reduction in felt recoil\, allowing a flatter shooting rifle\, however these devices in general produce more visible muzzle flash and more felt concussive force near the shooter.  Because of these factors\, students are strongly encouraged to use flash hiders and/or suppressors to minimize muzzle signature and prevent partner/team disruption in close proximity. \n\n\n\n\nTicket Information\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGhost Fighter NVG ALPHA – 1/11/25\n$270.00\n\n\n\n\n\n \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER
