DESCRIPTION:Course Description\nTodd Angell is the founder of Guardian Angell Consulting\, which partnered with Barrel\nand Hatchet Trade Group in 2023 to provide medical training to the B&H community.\nTodd is the lead instructor for Guardian Casualty Response Course. This course\nfocuses on training responsible citizens to have a knowledge and skill-base for\nproviding emergency medical aid. The course provides decades of experience-based\,\nevidence-based medical training to non-medical citizens.\n\nThis course was born following the Orlando\, Florida terrorist attack in 2016\, which took\nthe lives of 49 Americans and injured over 50 more. This class is the down and dirty\nmedical training\, required to save a life for the most common cause of death for\nAmericans age 1-44\, Trauma.\n\n \nWho is Todd Angell\nTodd comes from a deep-rooted\, pre-hospital medical career. Todd started his journey\nas a United States Navy Corpsman\, attached with the United States Marine Corps\ninfantry. Completing two deployments as a Corpsman\, he is well-versed in combat\nmedicine. On his second deployment\, Todd received the nation’s third highest award for\nvalor\, the Silver Star\, while serving as Corpsman for 1 st BN\, 8 th Marines\, Weapons\nCompany.\n\nUpon honorable discharge\, Todd began his civilian career as a firefighter/paramedic for\na large\, metro fire department in Florida. Todd also taught paramedic school for 3 years\,\nbefore working his way to his new job as a Flight Paramedic. SUMMARY:BARREL & HATCHET Contender Pistol
DESCRIPTION:The Barrel & Hatchet Contender Pistol Course introduces the students to the knowledge\, skills and attitude necessary for owning\, using\, and defending themselves with a red dot\, or iron sight pistol safely.  Throughout the course\, students will learn about red dot characteristics\, how to zero a red dot sight\, and methods to consistently “Find the Dot.” Students running iron sights will learn proper fundamentals and quick ways to achieve sight alignment. The course builds the foundation for a 4 stage draw\, mastering smooth footwork and proper stance. Students will also be confident in their weapons handling abilities and be able to maneuver safely in any environment. This course will also have multiple dynamic drills designed to reinforce the skills learned by the student.
