SUMMARY:DMR - Impact Sports
DESCRIPTION:Match starts: November 09\, 2024 @ 8:30 AM · Match ends: November 09\, 2024 @ 3:00 PM Location: 4418 Cooper Lane Holt\, Florida 32564 Impact Sports presents the DMR Precision Gas Gun Series at Silver Creek Range! This will be a 3-match series with matches being held on May 11th\, August 24th\, and November 9th. The safety brief will be at 8:30 am. Sight in Range will be open at 7:30 am for suppressed shooters and 8:00 am for unsuppressed shooters. Shooters are encouraged to check zero on their rifles before the match starts. The November 9th DMR Match will be a 8-stage event with 120 sec par time on each stage that incorporates positional shooting\, up-close encounters\, and distance shooting (850yds Max). This will be a great match for all types of shooters. Expect a minimum round count of around 90rds\, but it is highly recommended to bring at least double(You can always take it back home). There will be 4 divisions\, Recce Division is .223 and .308 with a 16” or less barrel and optics restriction of 12X maximum. DMR is .223 and .308\, with a 20” barrel restriction. Open Division is anything goes\, with no limit on barrel length or optic. The 4th Division is a Bolt Gun division with no restrictions. Shooters are allowed to register for up to 2 divisions for this match. This match will follow time plus points scoring format. All steel targets will have 1 impact unless the stage brief states otherwise and are hit to move. A target may be skipped\, but the shooter cannot go back to reengage and will time will automatically be par time. The range is considered a cold range so guns should be unloaded and magazines out with chamber flags inserted until under the make-ready order. Stages will be proofed with a 16” 5.56 using 77gr ammunition. Equipment required: Semi-Automatic Rifle\, 2 mags (3 is recommended)\, chamber flags. Recommended Equipment: IF YOU ARE SHOOTING .223 IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO RUN 68-77GR AMMO\, Mag pouches\, shooting bags\, bipod\, binos/spotting scope\, and tripod. We are new shooter-friendly\, so if you do not have gear\, please get with me and we will set you up with loaner gear. Also\, this community is known to be very courteous\, and more than likely other competitors have no issue loaning bags for stages.
