SUMMARY:Warrior Poet Society Rifle 1 Training Course Overview
DESCRIPTION:This 1 day course lays the foundation that all future rifle training will rest on. Safety\, range etiquette\, weapon operation\, accessories\, fundamentals of fire\, shooting/ready positions\, rapid target acquisition\, target transitions\, clearing of stoppages\, rapid fire\, and warrior mindset are the main subjects tackled in this essential course. Though this course is built for beginners\, the subject matter and technique is designed to allow students to build realistic skills that can survive the test of stress and small time constraints. \n\nClass will be led by one of the following WPS Instructors: Paul Perkerson / John Lovell / Josh Kent\nWho Can Attend? \n\n\n 	All U.S citizens ages 18 and up that are legally allowed to own/purchase/possess a firearm. Minors are not permitted.\n\nWhat do You Need? \n\n\n 	A quality semi-automatic AR platform rifle with optic and sling installed\n 	5 magazines (fully loaded upon arrival) with at least 1 magazine holster\n 	500 rounds of ammunition\n 	Ear and Eye protection\n\nRecommended: \n\n\n 	Best Rifle Sling\n 	Clothing and Headware suitable for crappy weather\n 	Sunscreen / bug spray\n 	Water / snacks\n 	Blade-Tech Accessories\n 	Battle Gnome Belt Loadout\n 	John’s War Belt Loadout\n 	Note taking material\n 	Vertx Clothing/Accessories\n 	Knee Pads\n\nRefund Policy for Classes  \nBeginning 01 January 2025\, an updated refund policy for WPS Training events will be in effect. Due to the logistics of scheduling/manning training events\, and maintaining necessary minimum student requirements\, there will be no refunds/rescheduling once you have booked your training event. Outside of 60 days from the scheduled event\, a store credit may be provided based on exigent circumstances. Inside of 60 days\, your purchased slot is transferable and may be sold by you to another interested party. \nYou may shoot reloaded ammo (at your own risk) or steel case (except at Dalton\, GA courses\, which are BRASS ONLY). You MAY NOT shoot any steel penetrating core\, i.e. NATO green tip.
