SUMMARY:SIDEWINDER CONCEITS Intermediate Carbine
DESCRIPTION:OVERVIEW\nTwo-day course utilizing your standard rifle outfitted with an LPVO or Red Dot Magnifier we will take your marksmanship skills to the next level. This class will teach you to become more precise and accurate with your perspective carbine. Having both closer and intermediate-range capabilities\, shooters will find themselves approaching situations with rapid target engagements 300 yards and in and lots of movement with a goal of bridging the gap between precision and speed. Precise marksmanship and distance shooting require essential supporting skills to achieve success. This course will show you those skills. Topics that will be covered\, but not limited to are. \n \n\n\n 	\nPhilosophy of use (POU) \n\n 	\nBasic understanding of external ballistics. \n\n 	\nBDC / MRAD / MOA scopes. \n\n 	\nMax Point Blank Range. \n\n 	\nUnderstanding Zeros. \n\n 	\nFamiliarization fire for extended distances. \n\n 	\nIdentifying the limits of each individual rifle. \n\n 	\nPositively identifying targets. (PID) \n\n 	\nGear considerations. \n\n 	\nBallistic calculator. (kestrel or applied ballistic app) \n\n 	\nBarricade style shooting. \n\n 	\nWind basics \n\n 	\nRange estimation skills \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPACKING LIST\n\n 	\nPlate carrier / chest rig / battle belt (ability to hold a minimum of 3 mags) \n\n 	\nCarbine with magnified optic and (offset irons or red dot\, optional but recommended) \n\n 	\n**** Recommend optic magnification minimum 4x or more…. Targets will range from 25yds to about 300yds (some locations will be farther). (weather depending) **** \n\n 	\nShooting bag for barricades and zero. \n\n 	\nWet / cold / hot weather clothing (season dependent). \n\n 	\nFood\, snacks\, water \n\n 	\nEar pro\, eye pro\, IFAK \n\n 	\nLube / cleaning kit / tools for your carbine and optic. \n\n 	\nManual for your optic or come with a strong understanding of it to include the reticle and zeroing process. \n\n 	\nZERO RIFLES PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. \n\n 	\n****AMMO: 500+ rnds of the same style Ammo.
